NRSA Soccer Programs
Travel & Select Programs - The travel and select programs are for players ready for a higher level of competition. Teams play in NCSA or EDP leagues depending on the team's competetive ability, and participate in several tournaments throughout the year. The Travel & Select Programs are open to all players U9-U19, subject to tryout and acceptance by the NRSA Coaching Staff.
Fall Rec - The Fall Rec Program is a local, team based soccer program. Games are played on Sunday and teams have a weekly training session every Friday evening with the NRSA Coaching Staff. Teams may have additional practice during the week depending on field and coach availability. For players K-HS.
Fall Tots - Learn the basics to create a strong future foundation! For players Ages 3-5 who have not entered Kindergarten. Small sided play, sessions are 1 hour, once a week.
Spring Rec - The Spring Rec Program gives all players the opportunity to participate in a Spring-time program that is designed to give each player the chance to play in a fast paced soccer environment. In turn, players in the program will have the opportunity to get lots of touches on the ball and learn the creative and free-thinking aspects of the game. Small sided game and training sessions each week, for players K-HS.
Spring Tots - Learn the basics to create a strong future foundation! For players Ages 3-5 who have not entered Kindergarten. Small sided play, sessions are 1 hour, once a week.
Summer Play Program - Following the club motto "Let the Kids Play", the Summer Play program is designed to allow players to play soccer with minimal interruption. Lots of opportunities to get the kids back out and playing, with coaching provided by the NRSA Professional Coaching Staff. There will be three one-hour sessions per week over six weeks. For K-HS players.
Winter Clinic - Players will work on individual physical and technical skills, and will play small sided games. Focus on speed, strength, agility, and ball control. Players will need indoor shoes, turf shoes, or sneakers. 1-2 one hour sessions per week (depending on Gym availability). For K-HS players.
Individual Skills Training (IST) - The IST Program offers players an opportunity to work on their individual skills with the NRSA Coaching Staff. IST sessions focus on players technical skills and physical abilities such as speed & agility, strength & conditioning, ball control, and shooting & finishing. IST Programs run seasonally for 8-10 weeks, and train 1-2 times per week, depending on facilities availabiltiy and program specifics. The IST Program is open to all players U8-U19, players do not have to be registered in any other NRSA programs to participate.
Goalkeeper Training - Goalkeeper training is providedby the NRSA for goalkeepers to work on their individual goalkeeping skills. Sessions are 1-2 times per week depending on field availability. The GK Training Program is open to all players U8-U19, players do not have to be registered in any other NRSA programs to participate.
Pre-Travel Program - The NRSA Pre-Travel program is for U8 and U7 players that are looking to transition to the Travel Program at U9. The Pre-Travel Program provides twice weekly training sessions for players with our NRSA Professional coaching staff. The Pre-Travel program is seasonal and runs for 8-10 weeks. Players in the Pre-Travel program will also be elligible for two Tournaments/Festivals depending on schedule and availability.
